Front Radar BRKTADAS

Product Introduction

This is a part that fixes the millimeter wave radar sensor to the center grille or front body. This bracket not only fixes the position and angle of the millimeter wave radar, but also enables physical aiming and protection of the radar and pedestrians in the event of a minor collision.

Resin Integrated Front Radar BracketUPDATED

By proposing an optimal shape for the millimeter wave radar sensor bracket, it has become an important functional part that is indispensable for ADAS, combining weight reduction and reliability evaluation.

Front Radar Bracket with Aiming Function

A millimeter-wave radar sensor bracket that has a physical aiming function for position and angle, and can also protect the radar and pedestrians in the event of a minor collision.

Radar mounting structure

We can propose a mounting method for the radar bracket, such as behind the front emblem or under the vehicle body, according to the vehicle body structure. Custom designs such as one-touch installation of radar sensors with high accuracy are also possible.

Optimization of Function and Structure

In order to change the bracket material from metal to resin, it is necessary to optimize the function and structure to satisfy various performance requirements. Nifco can make design proposals based on phase optimization in the early stages of development.

Front Radar Bracket with Aiming Function

Rasinification merets

Redesign to plastic helps reduce around 30%weight (NIFCO case). Taking advantage of plastic material characteristic, a break-away structure can be designed into the bracket which can reduce pedestrian crash impact. In addition, snap fit features within the bracket improve the efficiency when assembly the radar.

Aiming function

To ensure the radar detects objects accurately, aiming adjustment functions are needed within the radar bracket so that fine adjustment can be made to the radar unit so giving correct position and direction. NIFCO provides a mechanic aiming function which is adjustable in 4 directions.
